New blanket and a big surprise. Hotdogger magazine asked me for recent images and knowing their rather artistic placement, I sent a series of waves in slow speed. The main feedback I got from them was the magazine’s presentation photo with my photo on the cover. Beautiful rendering for a photo that is part of a first attempt at aquatic blur, it is validated and apparently to be redone.
For the record, I had in mind to change my outlook a little on this beautiful autumn morning. So when I found a perfect peak with no one in the water, I didn’t hesitate two seconds. An ND filter, my box, a 70-200 mm and it was everywhere. In the end, I spent more than three hours experimenting with several different speeds, playing with the positions. Overall, a beautiful result and a great first that we can also attribute to the luck of the beginner! So much for the original photo!
